A US subsidiary of a global Japanese technology company has an immediate opening for a printing purchasing manager who is fluent in Japanese.

In this position, you will manage the purchasing of very large print runs (100,000+ copies).

This job requires experience analyzing sales forecasts, predicting how many user manuals will be needed, then ordering the correct number of manuals to be printed.

This position has a direct impact on a product’s profitability. If you order too many manuals, the company ends up with extra inventory (which wastes money). If you print too few, the company has to print more (which is expensive) or worse, stop production because there are no manuals to ship with the product.

You will also send print jobs out for bid, negotiate pricing, verify production quality, monitor and manage inventories, then use what you learn to better predict production demands for the next model.
